The 7th annual School Art Salon, sponsored by the Irvington Guild of Artists, will be held this year on April 19. This Salon is unique because it is focuses on Irvington and the surrounding areas. The School Art Salon allows students an opportunity to be recognized for their artistic expression and it provides an opportunity for artists to have their artwork displayed locally. All artists will receive constructive comments on their artwork.

Event Chairperson: Kristin Seed
Kristin Seed has been a member of the Irvington Guild of Artists since 2004. She caters Guild events, including the Collectors Show and Silent Auction and the Walk in the Park. She served as Co-Chair of the Walk in the Park Exhibit of Art in 2007, Co-Chair of the School Art Salon in 2007, and is the Chair of the School Art Salon for 2008. Kristin lives on the southeast side of Indianapolis with her husband, Trent, and her three children. She is a homemaker turned entrepreneur. After three years at home with young children, she started her own catering and personal chef business, Call Me Chef. When not working or volunteering at her kids’ schools, Kristin entertains friends, reads books, and catches up on scrapbooking.
