The Irvington Guild of Artists' mission is to promote Irvington as a center for advancement of the arts by educating, sponsoring art exhibitions, and assisting the development of artists in their media.
Irvington's history as a community in support of the arts makes this a unique spot for encouraging artistic talent.
Our members have benefits including opportunities to exhibit their work in local venues and in our annual Summer Art Fair, A Walk in the Park, which is held in conjunction with the Irvington Garden Club.
The Irvington Guild of Artists is pleased to announce the 7th Annual Silent Auction on July 12, 2008 from 5 – 9pm. This event is a fundraiser in conjunction with the presentation of the fine art exhibition, “Irvington Guild of Artists’ Collectors’ Show” at The Bona Thompson Memorial Center. The Silent Auction generates funding for the support of Public Art in Irvington. Enjoy live music by jazz, blues, and gospel singer Everett Greene, delicious refreshments, a cash bar, and a wide selection of art and other desirable items at the silent auction. Suggested donation of $25 per person helps support the Public Art initiative in Irvington.
